But where is home these days? It is a question that I’ve come to grapple with lately. Where I used to call home doesn’t really feel like it any more. My bedroom seems empty, and I don’t feel the same level of connection to it anymore. But Athens doesn’t feel like a permanent home either, even though all my things are there and that’s where I spend most of my life. I suppose I’m just sort of in limbo for a while. Regardless, I kicked off my summer by going to Western Springs for a few days before returning to Athens for the summer. It was good to see my family and some friends I hadn’t seen in a while, and enjoy the rush of Chicago that I sometimes miss.
